Dr. Michele Flynch, Ph.D., RN

Michele Flynch, Ph.D., RN, is a skilled intensive care nurse, nurse scientist, and educator and leader. She currently holds the position of Director of Generic Bachelor of Science Program at Helene Fuld College of Nursing.. Before joining Helene Fuld College of Nursing in 2021, she was the Director of Nursing at Liberty Endoscopy Center.

Dr. Flynch received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Long Island University, a Master of Arts in Nursing Administration from Teacher's College Columbia University, and a Ph.D. in Nursing at Pace University, Lienhard School of Nursing, College of Health Professions.

​

Dr. Flynch's doctoral research explores family members' experiences following physical restraint intervention on loved ones in critical care settings. Dr. Flynch also has a keen interest in global health and alternative medicine. She is an active member of the American Nurses Association, American Association of Critical Care Nurses, and Sigma Honor Society of Nursing. She is a past Jonas Nurse Leader Scholar (2016-2018).

Dr. Flynch co-authored an article published in BioMed Central (BMC) Women's Health. Her research focused on health behaviors and practices in Ghana and how differences may influence them in culture and geography.
